My favorite quotes from today:
"He's my nephew." -My aphasic patient.
"I'm going to miss you." -My central cord syndrome patient who is leaving to go to a SNF tomorrow.
"Good luck to you. You have a way with patients that will take you far. You'll do great." -The first patient I saw by myself from eval to discharge.
"It's hard to talk when you forget your bottom teeth in your room." -My crazy patient.
That pretty much sums up my day. Glad its finally Friday. It's not even 9:00 and I've been in bed for an hour. Time for the weekend.
